Frequently Asked Questions

Do I Need To Register? Nope.

There is no need to register for the race series itself. Simply register and participate in any of the race series events and you will be scored automatically! Be sure to use the Standings link at the top of the site to view the latest race series standings.

So How Do I Score Points? Here are the details.

Scoring points is simple! Participate in any of the race series events and finish in one of the following categories for your gender:

  • Top 10 Overall: 15, 12, 10, 8 , 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, or 1 point(s) based on finish.
  • Top 10 Overall Masters (40+): 15, 12, 10, 8 , 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, or 1 point(s) based on finish.
  • Top 10 Overall Grand Masters (50+): 15, 12, 10, 8 , 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, or 1 point(s) based on finish.
  • Top 5 In Your Age Group: 10, 7, 5, 3, or 1 point(s) based on finish.

At the end of the year, awards will be given to the overall, masters, grand masters, as well as the top 3 finishers in each age group. Awards will be presented at the Championship Awards Celebration.

Runners will need to be present at the Awards Celebration in order to receive their awards.

Also, please be sure to use consistent information when registering for each of the race series races. Runners are responsible to make sure their registration information is consistent at each race.

Here's why. Use this example, a runner scores points in 2 races and goes by Mike in the first race and Michael in the second race, their standings points from each race would be split up. This would cause the runner to be placed lower in the standings than they actually should be. We attempt to correct any of these issues if noticed but are unable to catch them all. If there is an issue please let us know and we will do our best to correct it.

Moving Up An Age Group This Year?

Don't worry, you won't lose your points! If a runner moves up an age group during the series and has run a race in their new age group, the age group points they have accumulated in their previous age group will be moved to their new age group standings.
